What is DiscoveryWeek?
DiscoveryWeek started out as a series of roadshows organized by Apple authorized resellers with the support of Apple Malaysia. The goal was to help new customers get familiarized with all things related to Apple’s Mac and iPods.
How did it start?
It started out as Mac+iPod Discoveryweek way back in 2008. With the introduction of the iPhone, the iOS and future coolness like the iPad, we’re slowly dropping the moniker Mac+iPod from the name and it will simply be known as DiscoveryWeek.
What’s with the website?
The website discoveryweek.com.my started out as a landing page to promote the event. But soon after, we begin to use more and more tools like blogs, Facebook pages and Twitter to help spread the love to Malaysians. Today, Discoveryweek.com.my and its companion sites facebook.com/discoveryweek and twitter.com/discoveryweek are platforms to help our fans discover anything and everything they need to know about Apple products. It becomes a year long 24/7 Discoveryweek event on its own!
Will it have rumors?
Wellll…….. we can’t comment on rumors. But you know that this will be one of the places you’ll be able to go to get all the latest Malaysia-related product news as it happens. Promotions, events, workshops and even tips and tricks of the latest apps – we will have ‘em.
Who’s behind this anyway?
Discoveryweek is a run on behalf of all Apple Authorised Resellers in Malaysia. It’s a collective effort by all of us, to promote Mac, iPods, iPhones to every Malaysian! [special plug: that means, remember to buy only genuine products from authorised resellers, you won't regret it!]
