If you’re a big Star Wars fan and love tower-defence genre of games, you’re in for a real treat! THQWireless just released a Star Wars themed game called Star Wars: Battle of Hoth for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch!
You play the role of a commander of the Rebel forces during the famous scene in Episode V. The Rebel forces have to protect the shield generators from the aggressive Imperial ground troops. The game includes interesting 15 levels, two game modes and two difficulty settings, in addition to help and unit guide.
The gameplay resolves around setting up defenses along a path to prevent an onslaught of attacking imperial forces. Like any tower-defence games, you build a combination of structures with different defense capabilities. You can upgrade these capabilities for more firepower, particularly important as the game progresses and the enemies gets more ruthless.
The game promises to be a whole lot of fun for many hours and hours. We’ll be playing our copy soon and give a review in due time! This game is available for download on iTunes for $2.99.
